How we work

Our experience in demanding sectors such as pharmaceuticals and food has enabled us to consolidate a model based on quality, precision and sustainability. We have certified facilities, proprietary technology and a specialised team that guarantees safe, functional solutions tailored to each customer’s needs.

How we work

We are a company that designs and manufactures plastic packaging for the food, pharmaceutical and cosmetic sectors.

Our most distinctive speciality is the manufacture of cylindrical packaging and its subsequent decoration using direct printing on the packaging using DryOffset.

We are also characterised by our experience working for the pharmaceutical industry since our inception, as well as the certifications (ISO 13485) and facilities (ISO 7 CLEAN ROOM) required for this.

Product development

We have a product design department dedicated to optimising and improving packaging and medical devices, as well as developing new products. We have participated in multiple development projects with or without public funding. Some of these are:

– SINGLE-MATERIAL TABLET DISPENSERS

To this end, we have 3D printers for rapid and agile initial conceptualisation and then make pilot moulds for industrial testing or directly production moulds, depending on the project.

The department is currently focused on improving sustainability by prioritising single-material packaging, its ease of recycling, and the possibility of incorporating recycled materials into its production, whenever possible.

Mould workshop

We have an in-house mould workshop with two people specialised in performing preventive and corrective maintenance on our moulds, as well as those entrusted to us by our customers. The workshop has the necessary manual and CNC machine tools to provide a fast and efficient service, ensuring delivery times and quality for our production department.

When constructing new moulds, we collaborate with local workshops in the Barcelona area of proven quality.

Injection

We have a fleet of 16 injection moulding machines from ARBURG, ENGEL and NETSTAL with clamping forces ranging from 100 to 320 tonnes. Six of these injection moulding machines are located in our ISO 7 clean room and the remaining ten are located in an air-conditioned food production area.

Dry room

The dry room is used for silica gel production. The room has a controlled atmosphere with a maximum humidity of 35%.

Clean room

Our ISO 7 clean room has six injection moulding machines with a clamping force of up to 160 tonnes, a screen printing machine for decorating dosing syringes and vaginal applicators, and a PP film flow pack bagging machine. In addition to manufacturing and decorating parts, we also have an assembly and handling area for medical devices. We are certified as manufacturers of medical devices.

Printing

We have three DryOffset printing machines for polypropyl and polyester with direct dyes and a total capacity of decoration of more than 40 million containers a year.

We also have a single-ink screen printing machine in the Clean Room for the decoration of glasses and sanitary products with for vaginal xeringues and applicators.”
