The first products to be certified by UNE-EN 15343 recycled plastics are the 300 ml and 400 ml jars, manufactured with mechanically recycled material.

What does this standard entail?
This regulation guarantees the traceability of plastics recycling and the verification of recycled content in products. It allows companies to verifiably demonstrate that recycled materials are used in their production processes, under controlled and audited mechanisms.
Why is this an improvement?
1️⃣ Plastic tax exemption: Since 2023, a tax of €0.45/kg is levied on non-recycled plastic in Spain. Thanks to this certification, our products can benefit from tax exemptions.
2️⃣ Packaging with recycled material and food certification, guaranteeing the safety and quality of our products.
3️⃣ Commitment to sustainability: Packaging contains certified recycled plastic with full traceability, helping to reduce environmental impact throughout the product life cycle.
